You can use this Remote Deposit Activity Report to review your ScotiaConnect Remote Deposit Daily Hold Limit.
The report will display deposits up to a maximum of 2 years.

When your Remote Deposit service is set up, a Daily Hold Limit in Canadian dollars is assigned to your ScotiaConnect Agreement.
As you do deposits throughout the day any deposit amounts above your Daily Hold Limit will be held.
Deposit batches will show on this report if:
- The deposit batch status is “Submitted” or “Delivered”
- The deposit batch was processed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. ET to 8:00 p.m. ET. Monday to Friday
Note: If you submit a cheque deposit batch after 8:00 p.m. ET the deposit batch will display on this report on the next business day after 8:00 a.m. ET.
The main fields that display on the report view are:
Grouped by day and by currency and then sorted by deposit time (ET) with the corresponding Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) Daily Hold Limit:
- Deposits on MM/DD/YYYY – Deposit Grouping by Day and Currency
- RDC Daily Hold Limit – Your RDC Daily Hold Limit for that day
Fields listed in order of appearance:
- Time (ET) – The time the deposit was processed
- Account Number – The deposit account number
- Curr - The currency of your deposit account
- Deposit ID – Bank Assigned – A 12-digit unique number assigned by the bank to each deposit
- Deposit Amount – Amount of the deposit
- Held Amount – Amount held once your RDC Daily Hold Limit is reached
- FX Rate – The USD spot rate that was applied to calculate the current “Available Limit (CAD)”
- Available Limit (CAD) – The value in the last deposit of the day indicates your “Amount remaining before hold applies (CAD)” for that day
If a hold was applied to your deposit and you would like it removed, or you would like to change your Daily Hold Limit:
- If you are a Corporate or Commercial client, contact Relationship Manager (RM).
- If you are a Small Business client, contact your Small Business Advisor (SBA).
