Adding a Bill Payment Company
You can easily search for and add new Bill Payment companies.
How to add a new company
- From the Payments menu, select Bill Payments, then Payee Maintenance
- Click the Add Payment Account button to access the Bill Payment Company Search screen
- On the Bill Payment Company Search screen, choose the company category and province from the dropdown menus
- In the Company Name field, enter at least the first letter of the company you are searching for. Note: You can use the ‘%’ symbol as a wild card to search for the name of the company. For example, if entered %bell in the Company Name field, the search would return all companies containing the word ‘bell’ in the company name. Results could include Bell Canada, Toronto Bell Service, etc
- Click the Search button. The results of the search will be displayed in the lower half of the screen
- Under the Action column, click on [Select] next to the company that you would like to make the payment to
- Enter a Company Short Name
- In the Payment Account field, enter your account number for the company you are making the payment to
- Click the Add button to save
The new Bill Payment Company will appear in your list of companies on the Payee Maintenance screen and will be available in the Payment Account dropdown menu on the Bill Payments screen
