Submit Pending Payments

This page allows you to submit your pending payments.

How to Submit Pending Payments

Pending Payments

  1. From the main Pending page, enter your search criteria and click Search. In the search results, click the checkbox next to the payment(s) to approve.
  2. In the Select Action dropdown list, choose Submit and click Go.

Submit Payments: Review & Confirm

  1. You will see a summary of payments selected for submission. This summary includes the following information tables:
    • The Total Payables table will include the following information:
      • Service Group (where applicable)
      • Payment Type
      • # of Payments
      • Currency (based on debit account)
      • Total Debit - amount to be debited from selected From Account. NOTE: In case of cross-currency payments, approximate amount is shown and will become accurate upon acceptance of a foreign exchange rate.
    • The Total Receivables table will include the following information
      • Service Group (where applicable)
      • Payment Type
      • # of Payments
      • Currency (based on debit account)
      • Total Credit
  2. Where applicable, you can view payment details by clicking the linked number in the # of Payments column.
  3. Review the information and enter your password and token value to proceed.
  4. Your next step in the wire payment process will depend upon whether or not you are making cross currency wire payments.
    • Not making cross currency wire payments?
      • Click Confirm at the bottom of the page to continue to the summary page.
    • Making cross currency wire payments?
      • Before submitting your payments, you need to first accept or reject foreign exchange rates for these payments.
      • Click Continue to review and accept or reject foreign exchange rates.
      • Only payments with accepted rates will be processed.
      • Any other requested payments will be submitted once you click Continue.

Note: Clicking Cancel will return you to the main Pending screen without saving your changes.

Foreign Exchange Rate Confirmation page

  1. To accept foreign exchange rates for cross currency wire payments, you have the following options:
    • Accept current available rates for ALL PAYMENTS AT ONCE:
      • Click Accept Rate for All.
      • You will see a message to confirm that accepting the available rate means this rate will be applied to the current payments.
      • If you confirm, your payments will be submitted.
      • If you do not confirm, you will return to the previous screen to continue reviewing the available rates.
    • Accept or reject rates ONE PAYMENT AT A TIME:
      • Click Get Rate for each payment.
      • You will have approximately 10 seconds to accept or reject each displayed rate.
      • If you accept a rate, the table will update to display the Confirmed Value Date and status of Rate Confirmed.
      • If you reject a rate, the table will update to display a status of Rate Rejected.
      • If you do not act on the rate within the given time, the status will be displayed as Rate Expired.
      • After three timed-out requests, the status will be displayed as Rate Rejected and returned to Ready status for future action.
    • Continue without accepting rates:
      • You will see a message to confirm that you would like to skip the rate acceptance step at this time.
      • If you skip the rate acceptance step, the affected payments cannot be submitted and will be returned to Ready status for future action.

Note: Only payments with accepted rates will be processed.

Submitting Payments: Summary

  1. After you have completed your actions on the Foreign Exchange Rate Confirmation page, you will see a summary of submitted payments, along with a confirmation message and notice that the automatically generated report will be available in the Message Centre.
  2. Review the summary table of submitted payments for both Total Payables and Total Receivables.
    • The Total Payables table will include the following information:
      • Service Group (where applicable)
      • Payment Type
      • Processed
      • Failed
      • Currency (based on debit account)
      • Total Debit - amount to be debited from selected From Account. NOTE: In case of cross-currency payments, approximate amount is shown and will become accurate upon acceptance of a foreign exchange rate.
    • The Total Receivables table will include the following information
      • Service Group (where applicable)
      • Payment Type
      • Processed
      • Failed
      • # of Payments
      • Currency (based on debit account)
      • Total Credit
  3. The payment submission process is complete. Click Done to return to the main Pending page.
