Modify Service Group Details

This page allows you to modify details of a Service Group by following the same rules as for creating a new Service Group.

Please note that the Service Group must be in Inactive status in order to be modified. For Active Service Groups you can only add non-assigned payment service(s) and view only the rest of the information.

Step 1 to modify service group details

Navigate to your Service Groups page within the Administration section. Each service group name will have an Action drop down menu. Select “Modify” in the drop down and click the “Go” button.

You will be taken to the Modify Service Group page, step 1.

  1. You may edit the service group name
  2. You may check or uncheck the payment service types
  3. When ready, click the red “Continue” button to proceed to Step 2.

Step 2 to modify service group details

Please remember, if the status of the Service Group is Inactive, you can modify details for any of the Payment Services. If the status of the Service Group is Active, you can only assign details for a newly added Payment Service.

  1. If approval is required, entitlement settings can be assigned/modified to each payment type:
    • How many dollar amount tiers are required? (maximum 5)
    • Determine the dollar amount ranges for each tier
    • How many approvals are required for each amount tier? (maximum 3)
    • What levels of the organization (User Groups) will make approvals required at each tier level? (i.e. local, regional, head office)
  2. Assign/modify the payment functions and payment fulfillment agreements.
  3. Assign/modify remittance advice attributes
  4. When ready, click the red “Continue” button to proceed. Or, click “Previous” if you want to return to Step 1.
  5. You will have a chance to review your Service Group details. Click the red “Save” button.
If not satisfied, click “Previous” to return to Step 2, or click “Modify” to return to Step 1 and begin again. You may click “Cancel” at any time to discard your changes.
  6. Upon the save action, you will see a dialogue box asking if you are sure you are ready to save. Click “Ok” to proceed. You will be returned to the Service Group Information page with a confirmation message displayed, and your modifications saved.
