Group Information – Service Privilege Details – File Transfer

The Group Information – Service Privilege Details screen enables you to assign group access to the functions and accounts that have been assigned to a particular service.  The screen displays the following information:

  • Service Name
  • Hours of Operation
  • Functions that have been subscribed to within the service
  • Accounts associated with the service

The File Transfer Service enables users to upload and download information.

Within this service, access may be assigned to the following functions:

File Download

The File Download functions allows users to download account balance and transaction information into a specified file format.  The file can then be imported into other applications (e.g. spreadsheet).

File Upload

The File Upload function allows users to upload files to Scotiabank.  Issued cheques can be uploaded to the Bank to be reconciled by our Cheque Reconciliation service.

If a group has been granted access to a function within a service, a check mark will be displayed in the Assign column next to the function.  To assign group access to a function, click on the checkbox beside the function.

The accounts associated with the service are listed at the bottom of the Group Information – Service Privilege Details screen.  To allow group access to an account when using this service, under the Assign column, place a check mark in the box next to the account.

Click on the Save button to save any changes.
