Rejected Wire Payments/Requests for Transfer |
The Wire Payments/Request for
Transfer services use digital signatures to provide verification to the Bank
that the signed transactions came from the person who sent them and the
transactions were not altered since they were signed. Transactions will be rejected if authentication of the
digital signature fails at the Bank’s security server. If a Wire Payment or Request for Transfer transaction is
sent to the Bank for processing, but rejected, you will receive a high
priority alert in the Message Centre on the ScotiaConnect Electronic Banking
home page. You can click on the reference number of the payment under
the ‘Message’ column in the Message Centre to view the details of the
rejected transaction. Note: Rejected transactions may have been
tampered with. Please contact the
Customer Contact Centre, Business Products and Services at (800)265-5613 for
additional information. |
