Convert to Digital Token

If you are using a physical token for ScotiaConnect, you may be able to use Digital Token if your company allows it. You can do this on ScotiaConnect without needing to call us.

Making the switch is easy

  1. Ensure the date and time settings on your smartphone are set to Automatic.
  2. Visit the App Store or Google Play, and download the Scotiabank Digital Token app.
  3. Open the app and choose a passcode.
  4. Click on the "+" icon to add a new token.
  5. Allow the app to access the camera when asked.
  6. Aim the camera at the barcode and scan the code.
  7. Enter the token value. You’ll get on-screen guidance to help you enter it in the right spot.
  8. Select "Complete Conversion” to finish the process.

That’s it. Be sure to return your physical token to your Administrator or Super User. They can assign it to someone else, while you use your convenient digital token.
